Our Team

William Kim is the Founder, CEO, and CIO of Presidio Asset Management LLC. He brings 18 years of experience across both the buyside and sellside, including as a Portfolio Manager at a convertible arbitrage and multi-strategy hedge fund, investing in a broad range of asset classes spanning public and private markets.

Prior to founding Presidio, William served as turnaround management for a distressed investment in addition to managing a portfolio of private credit special assets with the goal of maximizing recovery. This hands-on operating experience provides unique insight into evaluating businesses, assessing management teams, and identifying special situations where operational improvements can unlock value.

William's investment philosophy combines deep fundamental research with a disciplined approach to portfolio construction and risk management. He seeks concentrated, high-conviction positions in opportunities where thorough analysis reveals meaningful gaps between price and intrinsic value.
